Scott Allen Burnett

BURNETT, Scott Allen - age 57, of Flushing, passed away February 28, 2024. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday, March 4, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 11 AM - 1 PM Monday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the charity of ones choice. Scott was born November 10, 1966 in Flint, the son of Thomas L. and Nancy J. (Miller) Burnett. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army 101st Airborne serving in the Gulf War. Scott had worked for the State of Michigan as a Tether Agent for many years. He was a devoted son, brother and uncle. Surviving are: parents, Thomas and Nancy Burnett of Flushing; brother, Cecil Burnett of Midland; sister, Karen Sue (James) Ostad of Grand Blanc; two special nieces, Rosetta Mae and Janelle "Elle" Marie Ostad; special friends, Tom Coyle, Brian Johnson, and Mark Corrigan.
