STORK, Sarah Thomas - Age 80, of Linden, died Tuesday, December 13, 2011. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, December 17 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad Street, Linden, with Thomas Hoose officiating. Interment in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to Iowa City Hospice, 1025 Wade Street, Iowa City, IA 52240. Sarah was born December 25, 1930 in Flint, the daughter of Earl and Elizabeth (MacIntyre) Davis. She worked for Genesee County in the Fenton office. She is survived by 2 children, Kristine (Thomas) McLachlan of North Liberty, Iowa, Norman "Skip" (Lynn) Stork of Byron; 4 grandchildren, Nicole (David) Moyes, Thomas (Jill) McLachlan, Samantha (Tony) Hoose, Norman "Charlie" Stork; great-granddaughter, Faith McLachlan (who Sarah adored); sister, Alice Vorhies; brother-in-law Richard Stork; several nieces and nephews.
