SMITH, Sarah A. -- Age 80, of Flint and Grand Blanc died September 7, 2016. No public services will be held. Private burial at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Those desiring may make contributions to the SNS Scholarship Fund- Baker College, Genesee County Humane Society or Charity of Ones Choice. Sarah was born May 29, 1936 in Flint. She was a resident of Flint and Grand Blanc her entire life. She married James I. Smith on March 26, 1955 in Flint; he preceded her in death in 2005. She retired from Hurley Medical Center in 1989 with 36 years of service. Sarah enjoyed reading and her animals. She is survived by her sisters, Shirley (Glen) Massey, Elaine Reno; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, James I.
