Sarah Jenny Mohn

MOHN, Sarah Jenny (Badgero) -- Age 84, of Argentine, died Thursday, August 28, 2008 at her residence. Funeral Services will be 1 PM Tuesday, September 2 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Sunday, 1-3 and 5-8 PM Monday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or Visiting Nurse Services of Michigan. Sarah was born February 29, 1924 in Detroit the daughter of DeLos and Theresa (O'Connell) Badgero. She had resided in Linden/Argentine since 1956 coming from Owosso. She was an R.N. retiring from McLaren in 1989 with 21 years of service. She enjoyed gardening, cake decorating, and water color painting. Surviving are: two daughters, Maureen Mohn of Argentine, Rebecca and husband Marlio Lesmez of East Lansing; two granddaughters, Ana Cristina and Elena; sister, Georgia Hewitt; sister-in-law, Kathleen Badgero of East Tawas; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, John and Jimmy; infant daughter Nancy; and brother, Robert 'Bob' Badgero.
