Sandra Steffey

STEFFEY, Sandra Joy - Age 78, of Linden, passed away peacefully in Fenton on February 5, 2021 while being lovingly cared for by her family. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, February 9 at  The Rock Church, 11400 Linden Road, Fenton, MI 48430. Pastor Wes Morris officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Monday, February 8 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, and 10 AM until the time of the funeral Tuesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Rock Church of Fenton.

Sandy was born May 25, 1942 in Flint, the daughter of Donald C. and Ethel L. (Keast) Stevens and resided most of her life in Linden. She married Ronald L. Steffey on March 7, 1975 in Fenton. Together, Ron and Sandy raised eight children and were blessed with 24 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Sandy was an amazing mother and grandmother. Faith, family, and friends were the center of her life. She cherished the many many friendships she made throughout her life and truly made each person feel special. Sandy was devoted to her Christian faith and was a member of The Rock Church.

Surviving are: Her children, Daren (Dena) Scully of Fenton, Terry (Julie) Steffey of Fenton, Hugh (Liz) Scully of San Diego, CA, Michael (Jennifer) Scully of Linden, Timothy (Stacy) Steffey of Fenton, Tami (Michael) Csapo of Fenton, Sean (Michelle) Scully of Temecula, CA, and Matthew (Donna) Steffey of Linden; grandchildren, Collette, Whitney, Ryan, Hannah, Christopher (Alex), Kier, Ian, Elisa (Lionel), Felipe, Bianca, Samuel, Paige, Lauren, Payton (Kyle), Maison (Travis), Seth, Brett, Josh, Eric, Kayla, Brandon, Reagan, and Jack; great grandchildren, Emerson, Noah, Aidan, Lena, Juliette, Sadie, Zane, Xander, and a great grandson  due in May. Sandy will be greatly missed by her dear friend Jim McIntyre.
