Sandra Louise Slater

SLATER - Sandra "Sandy" - age 76 of Metamora, passed away on March 28, 2025, In accordance with Sandy's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service is planned.

Sandy was born on September 13, 1948 in Hamtramck, Michigan to the late Joseph and Caroline (Fifelski) Bokota. She worked for the United States Postal Service for 30 years and enjoyed gardening. Family was important to Sandy, she cared for her mother for many years and she cherished the time spent with her family and friends.

Surviving is her husband, Ken. Son, Steve (Carla) Henry of Grand Blanc. Grandchildren, Megan; Macey; Mitchell. Sisters, Toni; Claudia; Marilyn. Sandy will be dearly missed by her nieces, nephews, friends and her dog, Dio. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; sister, Cheryl; brother, Joseph.
