QUEEN, Sandra S., age 63, of Flint, died Saturday March 19, 2005 at McLaren Regional Medical Center after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Mrs. Queen was born in West Virginia on June 24, 1941 the daughter of Charlie and Mary (Brown) Gibson. She has been a Flint area resident the past 44 years. Â She and Lawrence E. Queen were married in Godby, West Virginia on May 26, 1960. She had been employed at Flint Sausage Co. for 27 years. Surviving is her husband: Lawrence; 4 children, Vickie Lamoreaux & Ray Heiser of Flint, Â Charles Queen and wife Kimberly of Louisville, Ky, Kimberly Goddard and husband Randy of Lennon, Lori LaFever and husband Scott of Flint. Â Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 2 Great-grandchildren, her mother Mary Gibson of Elgin, Illinois. Â Further survivors include 1 sister, Rose Talbott; 5 brothers; Charles Gibson and wife Polly, John Gibson, Harold Gibson, James Gibson and wife Jan and Rodney Gibson and wife Charlotte. There also are many nieces, nephews and cousins. Â Sandra was preceded in death by her father and 2 brothers. Services will be 10 A.M. Â Tuesday March 22, 2005 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Â Â Rev. Bruce Badder will officiate. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
