Sandra Miles

MILES, Sandra Lee (Pepitone) - Age 71, of Flint, passed away Monday, May 17, 2021. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM, Friday, May 21, 2021 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 E Bristol Rd, Burton. Burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will take place from 10 to 12 PM and 3 to 8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Thursday evening the parish will gather to pray the rosary at 7 PM at the funeral home. On Friday morning Sandra will be taken to church to lie in state from 10 AM until the time of Mass Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Disabled American Veterans.

Sandra was born on May 6, 1950 in Flint the daughter of Anthony and Patricia (Palmquest) Pepitone. She graduated from Davison High School, class of 1969. Sandra graduated college with her Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. She and Peter Miles were united in marriage in 1969. She worked for GM Buick and Speedway for several years. Sandra was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary #2777.

She is survived by her children, Peter Miles, Rose (Donnie) Crowe and Fred Miles; 9 grandchildren; 4 brothers and 3 sisters, Julie (Eldon), Deborah, Steve, Robert, Sue (Mark), Mark (Mindy), and Anthony (Melanie); father-in-law, Fredrick; 2 brother-in-law's, Bud and Greg; and several nieces and nephews.

Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Peter; parents Anthony and Patricia Pepitone; brother, Richard; mother-in-law, Margarete; and 2 brother-in-law's, Lance and Tim. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
