Sandra Kato

Sandra Elaine (Jones) Kato, age 84, of Swartz Creek, passed away at home on Sunday, May 8th, 2022. Sandy was born November 9, 1937 in Elmira, New York. She moved to Flint, MI as a child and graduated from Central High School. She married John Kato on February 3, 1962, and together they had three sons. He proceeded her in death in 2021.

Sandy enjoyed card club with her friends, going out to eat, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother that will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her three sons, John (Beth) Kato of Central Lake, David Kato of Flint, and Tom (Betsy) Kato of Swartz Creek. She also leaves 4 grandchildren, James (Josie) Hamblin, Mackenzie, Maxwell, and Tanner Kato, and great grand son Robert Hamblin.
