Sandra Jankowski

Sandra Irene Jankowski, age 74 of Rankin, passed away on November 10, 2022.  A funeral service will be at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 20, 2022 at the Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek.  The family will receive guests at the funeral home from 1:00 PM Sunday November 20 until the time of service.  Mrs. Jankowski will be inurned, next to her husband, at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan at 10:30 AM Friday, November 25, 2022.

Sandra is survived by her children; Timothy (Melissa) Jankowski and Stephanie (Alan) Gibbs.  Grandchildren; Andrew, Ainsley, Jacob, Aaron, Leah and Sara.  Sisters Patricia (Jack) Battin, Linda Pederson and Kathy Suter.  Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and special loved one; Cathy Down.

Sandra Irene Jankowski was born on March 23, 1948 in Flint, Michigan to the late Fredrick and Irene (Cherveny) Sullivan.  She married Theodore Jankowski on April 9, 1966 and together they enjoyed Arthur Murray Dance Lessons, volunteering for the Carman-Ainsworth School District & Genesys Regional Medical Center and traveling until Theodore's death in 2017.  Sandra attended Cornerstone Baptist Church, Bethany Baptist Church and Dexter Street Gospel Chapel.  She is also a former Union President for the Carman-Ainsworth Food Service Program and was an amazing grandmother to her grandchildren.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Son; Theodore Jankowski, Jr..  Brothers and Sister-in-Laws; Dan (Joyce) Sullivan, Ted (Nancy) Bradford and  Brother-in-law; Bob Pederson.
