Sandra Lee ANDERSON

ANDERSON, Sandra Lee - Age 67, of Swartz Creek, passed away on May 11, 2009 with her daughters at her side. Funeral service will be held 11AM Thursday, May 14, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1-4 and 6-9PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to her grandchildren's schools, Valley School or Nellie Reid Elementary in Corunna, c/o Dort Federal Credit Union. Sandra was born on October 29, 1941 in Detroit, the daughter of Colen and Gladys (Blackett) Wilson. She had resided in the Flint area for the past 40 years the last 10 of which were in Swartz Creek. Ms. Anderson was the Comptroller/Office Manager at Randy Wise for 32 years, retiring in 2007. She was a member of the Blue Care Network Board of Directors from 1983 to 1996 serving as Vice-Chairperson and member of the Finance, Marketing and Nominating Committees. She was also a member of the Chevrolet Business Accounting Managers Council for 28 years and served on the Board of Trustees at Valley School. Surviving are: daughters, Sheryl (Tony) Medore of Clio, Julie (Steve) Kimsel of Lennon; 4 grandchildren, Josh Medore, Savannah, Emma and Ryan Kimsel; 2 brothers, Larry (Darlene) Wilson, Tom (Jennifer) Wilson; 3 nieces; 3 nephews; 5 great-nieces; 5 great-nephews; special friends, Ann Morris and Betty Bingham.
