Samuel Frederick GEBSTADT

GEBSTADT, Samuel Frederick - Age 37, of Swartz Creek, died Friday, March 27, 2009 after a long courageous battle with Cranial Pharyngioma at Avalon Hospice. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, March 30, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, with Pastor James Nelson officiating. Burial immediately following at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 12:00 PM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to Avalon Hospice. Samuel was born July 6, 1971 in Flint and was a 1989 graduate of Swartz Creek High School. He enjoyed music and played the trumpet, he also loved Texas Hold'em. He was a wonderful and supportive brother and uncle. Surviving are: 2 brothers, Steven and wife Jodi Gebstadt of Swartz Creek, Matthew and wife Cathy Gebstadt of King George, Virginia; sister, Kathryn and husband Patrick Merritt of Franklin, North Carolina; nieces and nephews, Noah, Hannah, Graceson, Maximilian, Lauren and Asher; many other relatives as well as dedicated friends.
