Samuel Dickinson

DICKINSON, Samuel Jesse, age 60, of Fenton, formerly of Howell, passed away Saturday December 25, 2021. He was born April 28, 1961 in Lapeer Michigan to William J. and Barbara (Bruner) Dickinson. Sam graduated from Lakeville High School and worked for VCF Films in Howell for 30 years and Asahi Kasei Plastics in Fowlerville for the past 9 years.  Sam married Tamara (McKenzie) Lloyd on June 22, 2003. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, a faithful friend and a dedicated, hardworking man, always willing to lend a helping hand. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, an incredible softball and baseball player in his younger years and loved playing golf with his friends and colleagues. He will be forever in our hearts. Sam is survived by his wife, Tamara; children Erica, Shane and Ethan Lloyd, adoring grandchildren Ava, Nova and Natalia, Arilynn, Jimi, Zoe, Maddi, Layla and Dameon, Emerson, Dylan, Olivia, Dallas and Denver.  He was a beloved brother to Steve, Sadie and Florence Dickinson, Dee Folts, Barbara Blaine, Ellen Bush, Kathy Badgley, Sue Sternberg, Rose Blasdell and Charlotte Hagie.  He was preceded in death by his sister Emma and his parents William and Barbara. Services will be held at 12 PM Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel,  1000 W Silver Lake Rd, Fenton, MI 48430.
