Samuel Dean Sr.

DEAN, Samuel J. Sr., Age 55, of Flint Township, died Saturday, December 18, 2021. A service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek (A live stream of the service will be available on Samuel's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Pastor Brad Foster officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 12 PM until the time of the service. Samuel was born March 31, 1966 in Flint, the son of Gary and Janet (Johnson) Dean. He had resided in the Flint area his entire life. He married Shelley Kay White May 12, 2014 in Sanibel Island, FL. Samuel was employed by ABC Supply as a driver safety manager. He enjoyed making people laugh and he loved his grandchildren.

Surviving are: his wife, Shelley; children, Karianne (Daniel) Valdivia, Justin (Liz Lawson) Cole, Brittany Dean, Kaitlin (Zac) Fox, Sara Dean, Samuel Dean Jr., Katie Dean, and Sara Tiner; 18 grandchildren; father, Gary Dean; brothers, Gary Dean and Brian Winters; sisters, Michalle  Dean Smith  and Shanna Winters; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
