BOYLAN, Samuel Ralph- Age 70, of Flint, died Friday, March 9, 2007 at Hurley Medical Center. Â Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, 1225 Robert T. Longway, Flint. Â Bishop Carl Pangerl officiating. Â Burial in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Â Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint from 5-9 PM Monday and 1-4 and 6-9 PM Tuesday; and at the church from 10:30 AM until time of service Wednesday. Â In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the Fast Offering Fund at The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. Â Samuel was born August 16, 1936 in Flint, the son of Alvin and Frances Vivian (Upton) Boylan. Â He retired from E.I. Dupont in 1993 after 33 years of service. Â He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints where he was High Priest, Ward Clerk and held various other positions. Â He was also the past president of the Companion Dog Training Club of Flint. Â Surviving are: 9 children, Samuel, Jr. and wife LouAnn Boylan of Macomb Township, Michael Ray Boylan of Flint, Gary Lee and wife Christine Boylan of Grand Rapids, Deborah Boylan of Gulf Port, MS, Karen and husband Kevin White of Flint, James Boylan of Gulf Port, MS, L. Marie and husband Dan Bachmeier of Flint, Peter Boylan of Flint, Kristin and husband Matt Grignani of Clio; 26 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; former spouses, Nancy Ann and husband George Lee of Flint, Lynn Bradt of Canada; 6 brothers and sisters; many nieces and nephews.
