CARTER, Sally Anna,(Murray) age 68, of Flint, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at home. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Bristol Road Church of Christ, 1315 W. Bristol Rd., Flint. Tony McKee officiating. The family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. Thursday until time of service at the church. Sally was born May 9, 1942 in Sandusky, Michigan the daughter of the late Vern and Evelyn Murray. She married Leonard Carter on January 29, 1970. Sally was employed by Speeds Auto Trim which later became Ideal Accents until her retirement. She loved to ride motorcycles and had a great fondness for animals. Sally was a wonderful cook and it brought great pleasure to her family. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, they meant the world to her, and they also loved her in return. She was a free spirited person and will be missed by many good friends also. Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Leonard; daughter, Cheryl (Randy) Reed; 10 grandchildren, Carly Rae, Reiko Anna, Amanda, Michael, Alicia, Scott (Kendra), Jeff, Michael, Christal (Mark), Angela; great-grandchildren, Charlee Rae, Marshall, Kory, Nathan, Riely, Danielle, Nathenelle; stepdaughter, Patty Lynn Karrick; brother, Larry; sister, Delores; and her beloved pets, Jojo the dog and Tippy the cat. She was also preceded in death by 2 sons, Warren and Charles Carter; sister, Joyce.
