Ryan Gabriel Maiden

MAIDEN, Ryan Gabriel - Age 22, of Gaines, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, August 25, 2023 at the Swartz Creek Church of the Nazarene, 7154  Morrish Road, Swartz Creek.  Pastor Josh McLaren and Pastor Bob Storey officiating.  Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek and at Church Friday from 1 PM until the time of the Service.  Those desiring may make contributions to Swartz Creek Church of the Nazarene.  

Ryan was born July 11, 2001 in Howell, the son of Nathan Christopher and Kelly (Burgett) Maiden.  He was a 2019 graduate of Durand High School and he was attending Saginaw Valley State University.  He was currently employed by Zehnder's in Frankenmuth.  Ryan enjoyed golfing, cooking, painting and playing card games; he also enjoyed playing the guitar, banjo, bass and playing video and computer games. 

Surviving are: his parents, Nathan and Kelly Maiden; siblings, Emma, Nolan, Brentan, Logan and Isabella; grandparents, Douglas and Kathleen Maiden of Howell and Mark and LuAnn Burgett of Howell; great grandmothers, Kathleen Kenney of Howell, Twyla Burgett of Holly and Barbara (Leroy) Lynch-Roman of Howell; girlfriend, Dani Kozolff; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
