Ruth "Bunny" Zaidinski

ZAIDINSKI, Ruth Jeanette - age 81, of Linden, died Tuesday, January 8, 2008. Services will be held 11 AM Friday, January 11, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden with Pastor Joshua Gates officaiting. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to First Baptist Church of Fenton. Ruth was born June 22, 1926 in Chelsea, MI, the daughter of Fredrick and Theresa (Gritzner) Oesterle. She was a graduate of Chelsea High School. Ruth married Ben Zaidinski on May 13, 1944 in Flint and he preceded her in death on December 10, 1994. She retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. Ruth enjoyed restoring antique picture frames, painting and yard work. Surviving are: two daughters, Jeanne and husband, Thomas Sartor of Linden, June Johnson of Lansing; grandchildren, Michelle and Robert Johnson, Tracy and Jeff Sartor; two great-grandchildren, Ashley and Colin; sister, Margaret Girvan of FL; several nieces and nephews; special son, James McColgan.
