Ruth Wright

WRIGHT, Ruth Ann - Age 66, Flint, died Friday May 14, 2021. Funeral services will be held 1PM Monday May 17,  at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Burial will follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held 3PM - 6PM Sunday and 12PM until time of service.  Ruth was born January 24, 1955 in Cheser, CA , the daughter of Ervin D.L.Johnston and Geneva Adell (Allen) Townsend. She married her childhood sweetheart Danny Wright in Flint on February 15th 1985. Ruth took pride in caring for her siblings as a young woman as well as many nieces and nephews. She enjoyed gardening, camping, playing pool, motorcycling and most of all being a hockey MOM. Surviving are: husband, Dan of Flint; son, Jeffrey of Clawson; father Irvin D.L. Johnston of AR; brothers, Darrell Johnston of Flint, Irvin Johnston of Flint, Keith Townsend of Harrisville; many nieces and nephews.
