Ruth Williams

Williams, Ruth Ann - Age 73, of  Flint, passed away November 5, 2022. Memorial Services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at The River Church - Burton, 2350 East Hemphill Road, Burton. Pastor Ryan Story will officiate. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Those desiring may make contributions to the Family.

Ruth was born May 6, 1949 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Cecil and Mary (Farnsworth) Proffer. Ruth was a graduate of Bentley High School and went on to attend Baker College and Ross Medical Education. She worked in customer service for AirTran for many years. Ruth was a member of the River Church-Burton. She loved Elvis, rocking in her rocking chair, and sitting in the back yard swing. Her favorite color was purple. She loved animals but especially her pet cats, Skittles, Precious, Oreo, Gracie and Bobo and her dog, Bindy. Most of all, she loved spending time with family.

She is survived by her children, Michael (Sundae) Williams, Mark (Dana Fleming) Williams, and Matthew (Jill) Williams; grandchildren, Crystal, Brandon, Richard, Kiersten, Satara, Kayla, Emily, Nathan, Logan, Asheleigh, and Aaron; siblings, Joyce Shaver and Jerry Burrows; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Jack Burrows and Denise Alexander.
