Ruth Wilcox

WILCOX, Ruth Louise - Age 99, of Flint and Fenton, our dearest mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, passed away peacefully, with her loving family by her side, November 22, 2019. Ruth was born September 9, 1920 in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of Erma and Elton Harrington. She was a graduate of Northern Flint High School. She married the love of her life, L.D. Wilcox, on June 14, 1942. She was a member of Hurley Medical Center Auxiliary for decades, and was a Red Apple Award Honoree. Ruth is survived by her children, Judith Rivard of Flint, Robert Wilcox of Flagstaff, Arizona; 5 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren (celebrating 13 years of 5 generations); siblings, Kenneth (Genny) Harrington of Swartz Creek, Donna Evans of Virginia; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, L.D. Wilcox, in 2001; siblings, Ronald Harrington, Robert Harrington, Helen Blackmer.
