WALTERS, Ruth Ann Belle, 90, of Fenton, Michigan, died Monday, February 27, 2017, at the Almost Home Assisted Living Facility in Fenton. She was born November 29, 1926, in Patchogue, New York, the daughter of Irving Carter Coleman and Mary Christine Grucci. Ruth was a long time resident of Fenton and had many friends and was greatly loved by many. On June 22, 1946 she was united in marriage to Harold R. Annis in Fenton. Ruth worked at many local businesses in Fenton, and retired from General Motors. She enjoyed cooking, baking, traveling, reading and spending time with her friends, family and children. She married Herbert C. Walters in January 1964. She is survived by her four children, Alan R. Annis of Fenton, Michael J. Annis of California, Susan M. (Paul) Kimball of Florida and Rick L. Walters of Colorado; 12 grandchildren, Stephanie Burke, Michele Annis, Ira Annis, Lauren DeMine, Erik Annis, Kathryn Wisniewski, Kara Kimball, Amanda Gionet, Carly Kimball, Shane Walters, Jessica DeMascio and Kyle Walters; 18 great-grandchildren, and her sister Marie Lovelace of Middletown, Ohio, as well as many nephews, nieces and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Herbert and her brothers, Irving C. Coleman, Jr. and James C. Coleman. A Celebration of Life service will be held in April (date to be announced) in Fenton, Michigan. Sharp Funeral Home, Fenton Chapel, 1000 SIlver Lake Rd., Fenton handling funeral arrangements.
