Wallace, Ruth, age 74 of Fenton, died Thursday, January 12, 2006 at home. A memorial service will be held 2:30PM Sunday, January 15, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd. Fenton. Pastor Ed Emerling officiating. Visitation will be held 2PM until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Michigan Parkinsons Foundation. Ruth was born September 29, 1931 in Holcumb, Missouri, the daughter of Ace Fred and Lula Bell (Hawkins) Cook. She married Freddie Joe Wallace on September 11, 1948 in Cross County, Arkansas and he preceded her in death in 1996. Ruth was employed at AC for 32 years, retiring in 1987. She was a very creative lady who loved doing all types of crafts, sewing, painting, drawing, and ceramics, to name a few. Ruth also enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling. Surviving are her 3 children, Tommy Lee Wallace and wife Joy A. Of Davison, Ruth Ann Brzezinski and husband Marshall of Fenton, Patsy Lou Rowe and husband Steven of Burton; 7 grandchildren, Chris, Tommy, Freddie, Kevin, Jerrie, Crystal, Patti; 15 great-grandcildren; 2 brothers, Raymond Cook of Florida, Vernon Cook of Arkansas; sister, Margaret Eldridge of Davison. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; granddaughter, Angela Marie; sister, Celestine Sullenger.
