Ruth Tower

TOWER, Ruth Ann -- Age 74, of Swartz Creek, died, April 1, 2015. Services will be held 10:30 AM Thursday April 9 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Family and friends will gather at the cemetery at 10:15 AM. Those desiring may make contributions to the Wounded Warriors Project. Arrangements under the direction of Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Ruth was born February 9, 1941 in Owosso the daughter of Harry Harland and Ersa Belle (Henderson) Merrill. She married Gladwin D. Tower on December 16, 1972 he preceded her in death on May 17, 2012. Ruth resided in the Swartz Creek area all her life. She is survived by; children, Connie Ann (Paul) Ruby of Shreveport, Louisiana, Susan Hayes of Flint, Eric (Doreen) Tower of Flint; grand children, Justin Hayes of Swartz Creek, Shane Hayes of Swartz Creek; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Emma, and Troy; brother, Garry Harland of Durand.
