THRASH, Ruth Ann -- Age 75, of Flint, died July 7, 2014 at Living Joy, Flushing. Services will be held 11 AM Saturday, July 12 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 402 S. Ballenger Hwy., Flint, Pastor Jeff Walsh officiating. Interment in Davison Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-4 and 6-8 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, and 10-11 Am at the church Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Paul Lutheran Church (Funeral dinners) or the Alzheimers Association. Ruth Ann was born September 29, 1938 in Williamston the daughter of Peter and Vivian (Fisher) Rodabaugh. She was a graduate of Flint Central HighSchool and had resided in Flint most of her life. Ruth Ann worked for Michigan Bell Telephone as a Telephone Operator and then as an engineer retiring in 1990. She was member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and active in many areas of the church including the Altar Guild and she planned funeral dinners for many years. She was a member of the Mayflower Society. Surviving are: son, David (Catherine) Thrash of Flint; granddaughter Ericia (David) Caras of Colorado; sister Gwen Hemingway of Davison; brother-in-law, Roy Preslar of Fenton; nephew and nieces, Bob (Marianne) Hemingway, Robin (Fred) Mills, Sandy (Scott) Walker, Jenny (Paul) Sugg, Suzanne (Rob) Canning; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Norma Kay Heiman and Jean Presler; brothers-in-law, Don Heiman and Robert Hemingway.
