Ruth Palmatier

PALMATIER, Ruth Jane (Mockbee) - Age 77, of Fenton, passed away January 11, 2022. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, January 17, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden (A live stream of the service will be available on Ruth's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Burial will follow in Tyrone Memory Gardens. Ruth was born September 11, 1944 in Flint, the daughter of Homer and Grace (Hayes) Mockbee and was a 1963 graduate of Carman-Ainsworth High School. Ruth married Lawrence Robert Palmatier on September 21, 1963; he preceded her in death on October 24, 2016. She was the secretary of the Bethel United Methodist Church in Flint for many years. Ruth enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and word searches. She is survived by her sons, Larry (Sarah) of Edmonds, WA, David of Fenton and Jeffrey of Fenton; grandchildren, Nathan (Jennifer) of Florida, Jake (Elizabeth) of Fenton and Taylor of Fenton; great granddaughters,Sawyer Mae and Emmy Lynn Palmatier; sisters, Jean Mockbee of Flint and Eleanor (Leland) Liebengood of Burton; brother, Dale (Suzanne) Mockbee of Owosso.
