FAYERWEATHER, Ruth Hazel - Age 89, of Fenton, died Tuesday, September 30, 2003 at her residence. A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00AM Monday, October 6, 2003 at Fenton United Methodist Church, 119 S. Leroy St., Fenton. Rev. David Mulder officiating. Mrs. Fayerweather was born October 1, 1913 in Detroit the daughter of Clarence and Esther Gray (Lewis) Chamberlin. She had lived in the Fenton area most of her life. She married William J. Fayerweather 1934, and he preceded her in death May 8, 1993. Mrs. Fayerweather and her husband owned and operated Fayerweather Farms Hunting Preserve. She was a member of Fenton United Methodist Church. She was an avid gardener and cook; enjoyed knitting and sewing, and loved Golden Retriever dogs. Surviving are: god son, David Cramer of Chesaning; 2 nephews, Bruce and wife Mary Fayerweather of Rochester Hills, William and wife Linda Fayerweather of Maumee, OH; 2 nieces, Jean Schock of Ballston Spa, NY, Janet and husband Paul Thorsberg of Midland; many great nieces and nephews; faithful companion, her dog Hooch.
