Ruth Naomi Dalton

DALTON, Ruth Naomi - age 90, resident of Cleveland, TN, formerly Flint, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2008. Funeral services will be 1 PM Monday, April 21, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc Township.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery.  Ruth was a member of the North Cleveland Church of God.  She was a faithful member of the Ladies Prayer and Praise group at the church.  She was a devoted pastor's wife for 48 years.  She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. James Frank Dalton.  A celebration of her life was held Thursday, April 17, 2008 at the Grissom Funeral Home, Cleveland, TN.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of God World Missions Program,c/o North Cleveland Church of God, 335 11th St. NE, Cleveland, TN.  She is survived by four daughters, Janet (Roy) Booth, Carol (Gary) Abear, Linda(Wendell) Cordell, all of Cleveland, TN, Cheryl (Gary) Apsey, Sunfield, MI; 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, a sister Patricia Morgan of Athens, MI.  Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Aerial Wood, 2 sisters, Dorothy Hale, and Maxine Lowe, and a brother Victor Wood.  Those desiring may share online condolences or post a tribute at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
