Ruth Callahan

CALLAHAN, Ruth Margaret - Age 76, of Swartz Creek, died March 27, 2017. Services will be held 12:30 PM Friday, March 31, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment will follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital. Ruth was born December 3, 1940 in Sylva, NC, the daughter of Guy and Grace (Duncan) Henry. She was married to John Patrick Callahan on December 9, 1960. Mrs. Callahan retired from General Motors in 1989. She is survived by her husband, John; son, John and wife Christy Callahan; son-in-law, Jim Moore; grandchildren, Lesley Callahan, Justin Moore and Courtney Moore; siblings, Ann, Hilda, Brenda, Sherry, Marcella, Bob and Grover.
