VISSER, Russell Eugene - Age 51, of Fenton, died Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Bronson Hospital, Kalamazoo. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Resurrection Reformed Church, 5225 Calkins Road, Flint, with Pastor Douglas Kiel officiating. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Tuesday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the Russell E. Visser Memorial Fund. Russell was born April 28, 1959 in Flint, the son of Donald and Lorraine (Louwsma) Visser. He was a graduate of Flushing High School. He had resided in Fenton for most of his life. Russell owned and operated Action Electric Company. Surviving are: 2 sons, Jason Visser and fiancee Melissa Moran of Mattawan and Justin Visser of Traverse City; parents, Donald and wife Lorraine Visser of Flushing; sister, Judy and husband William McCaw of Traverse City; Jason and Justin's mother, Katherine Visser.
