Ruby Elizabeth Zimmerman

ZIMMERMAN, Ruby E. - Age 97, of Linden, died Friday, January 5, 2007 at Crestmont Healthcare Center. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Monday, January 8, 2007 at Argentine Church of the Nazarene.  Family will receive friends Sunday from 1-4 and 6-8 at Sharp Funeral Home, 209 E. Broad St., Linden, MI. Those desiring may make contributions to Argentine Church of the Nazarene. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Vernon. Mrs. Zimmerman was born in Victorville, MI the daughter of William and Alice (Lottridge) Ordiway January 27, 1909. Ruby retired from Walter Winchester Hospital in 1971 after 15 years of service.  She was preceded in death by her first husband Harold Hartman in 1945 and 2nd husband Lawrence Zimmerman in 1973.  Ruby is survived by daughters; Kathaleen Boyce and husband Melvin Dale of Linden and Janet Wolford of Florida; son, Lawrence Zimmerman of Durand, stepdaughter, Fern Veselsky and husband Joseph of Lennon, stepson Earl Eugene Zimmerman and wife Mary Lee of Irons, MI, foster-son, Bruce Ordiway of Boyne City, MI, 32 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
