Ruby Wood

WOOD, Ruby Arlene - Age 95, of Swartz Creek, died Saturday, October 26, 2019. No services will be held. Private burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to Cornerstone Baptist Church, 6273 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, MI 48473.

Ruby was born November 27, 1923 in Flint, the daughter of Guy and Alice (Nelson) Phillips. She married Norman Wood June 7, 1941 in Flint and he preceded her August 1, 2001. She had been employed by Sears and Roebuck for 13 years working in sales and stock. Ruby was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Swartz Creek.

Surviving are: her son, Norman (Sandy) Wood of Fenton; grandson, Dustin Wood of Swartz Creek; granddaughter, Treena (Joe) Keck of Fenton; great granddaughters, Heather and Courtney Sipes, and Rachel Keck; great-great grandsons, Wyatt and Myles; and nieces and nephews.
