SUFFEL, Ruby - age 81, of Swartz Creek, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2010 at her residence. Services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, April 9, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. The family will receive friends from 3-9 PM Thursday and from 9 AM until the time of service Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the charity of their choice. Mrs. Suffel was born February 6, 1929 in Flint, the daughter of Thomas W. and Rosie M. (Beck) Lawrence. Surviving are: two sons, Sherman A. Suffel of Swartz Creek, Stephen A. Suffel and wife, Rene of Lapeer; four grandchildren, Sheldon, Andrew, Devin and Avery; brother, Tom Lawrence; two sisters, Gladys and husband, John Combs; Linda and husband, Roland Woods; many nieces and nephews; very special friend, J. Kerr; good friend, Wilma. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Neil Suffel; her parents; brother, Charles; twin sister, Ruth Bednarski; sisters, Virginia Doss, Dora Roth and Duanita Gray.
