Ruby Robinson

ROBINSON, Ruby Jean - Age 80, of Burton, died Wednesday, November 25, 2020.  Per Ruby's request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.  Those desiring may make contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society.

Ruby was born March 9, 1940 in Broseley, MO, the daughter of Eserum Reynolds and Gladys Dorris.  She was a 1957 graduate of Bendle High School.  She worked and retired from St. Joseph Hospital/Genesys Hospital after 38 years as a Ward Clerk. She taught knitting, crocheting, and cake decorating classes at Mott Community College.  She was a talented doll maker, beader of beautiful jewelry, painter, knitter, and crochetor.  She enjoyed cooking and baking.  Ruby was a lady of many talents.  She was a pet lover of: Taffee, Duster, LinSu, Sissy, and Honey.

Surviving are: her children, Susan and husband Gary Hope of Georgia, Jill and husband Bradley Tucker of Grand Blanc, and Terri and husband Randy Siple of Houghton Lake; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step father, Clifford Taylor; son, Mark Robinson; and brother, Louis Reynolds.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
