Ruby B. Peel

PEEL,  Ruby B., age 91 of Flushing, died Sunday, January 7, 2007 at Maple Woods Manor in Clio.  Mrs. Peel was born in Sault Saint Marie, Ontario, Canada on January 29, 1915 the daughter of John and Amelia Clarence. She and Martin E. Peel were married in Angola, Indiana on January 27,1934 and he preceded her in death on December 6, 2002.    She retired from the Carriage Shoppe of Grand Blanc in 1990. Mrs. Peel was a member of St. Robert Catholic Church in Flushing.  Surviving are a son, Martin E. Peel, Jr.and wife Patricia of Lennon and a daughter, Agnes Peel Taylor and husband Jimmie Spaulding of Flushing and Florida. There are 3 grandchildren: Shelby S. Peel (who was the light of her Grandma's life), Gary C. Peel, Jr and Garrett C. Peel . One brother and one sister; John Clarence and wife Maxine in Indiana and Jean O'Dell of Flushing.  Mrs. Peel was preceded in death by a son Gary C. Peel and 3 brothers.  A Funeral Mass for Mrs. Peel will be 10:30 A.M.Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at St. Robert Catholic Church in Flushing.  Rev. Fr. Louis Ekka will officiate and burial will follow in the Flushing Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp., Tuesday from 1 P.M.  to 8 P.M., with a Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 P.M. Mrs. Peel will lie in state at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 A.M. to service time.
