Ruby Mae PALMER

PALMER, Ruby Mae - age 80, of Flint, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 28, 2011 at Fenton Health Care. Services will be held 11 AM Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Pastor Chris Yager officiating. Interment will follow at Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12-4 and 6-9 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Ruby Mae Palmer Memorial Fund. Mrs. Palmer was born December 20, 1930 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, the daughter of Jonah and Mentoria (Bennett) Pruitt. She married Cecil J. Palmer on January 15, 1949 and he preceded her in death on July 18, 1979. Surviving are: four children, Larry (Crystal) Palmer of Fenton, Edith Wolosonowich of Clio, Joan (Bill) Might of Swartz Creek, Tammy Palmer; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
