Ruby Eileen DAWSON

DAWSON, Ruby Eileen, age 93, formerly of Lake Whales, Florida and Culver, Indiana passed away Friday, July 15, 2011 while visiting her daughter in Michigan for the summer. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Culver Masonic Cemetery, Culver, IN. Pastor Ron Lewellen officiating. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, the Kidney Foundation or the Diabetes Foundation. Ruby was born June 19, 1918 in Kewanna, Indiana the daughter of the late Oscar Otto and Mary Margaret Bixler. She married Oren Junior Dawson on October 24, 1938 in Tippicanoe, Indiana and he preceded her in death on January 28, 1994. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and a wonderful homemaker. Surviving are her 2 children, Glenda Parker and husband, Robert of Fenton, Gregory Dawson and wife, Nancy of Ocala, FL; 3 grandchildren, Bret Parker and wife, Cindi of Ortonville, Rene Sgrignoli of Bensenville, IL, Jeffrey Dawson and wife, Theresa of Washington State; 7 great-grandchildren, Michael Brasic of Clio, James Brasic Of Cicero, IL, Robert Parker and Kenneth Parker both of Ortonville, Stephen Baker of Fenton, Alex and Joshua Dawson; 3 great-great grandchildren.
