Roy Theodore Eiker

Eiker, Roy Theodore - Age 80, longtime resident of the Flint area,  passed away peacefully from Parkinson's Disease on December 22, 2023. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Memorial visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 AM Wednesday until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Roy to the family or the Genesee County Humane Society.

Roy was born on December 23, 1942 in Romulus, Michigan to the late William and Tina (Maki) Eiker.  He graduated from Wyandotte High School, earned his Bachelor's Degree from Central Michigan University before achieving his Master's Degree from the University of Michigan.  Roy taught in the City of Flint for many years and he enjoyed fishing and frequently visited Montana as an avid hunter.

He is survived by his wife, Alana S. Bories; children, Christopher (Melissa) Eiker of PA and Jennifer (Travis) Eiker of IL and their mother, Cathy Eiker of Grand Blanc; grandchildren. Andrew, Aiden, Kirsten, Sloan,and Tate; brother,William (Becky) Eiker of Montana; and sister, Sandra Eiker of Arizona;  sister-in-laws, Marsha (Brian) Seigrist of Davison, Janice Mills of Holly, and Sheri (Clayton) Wilkerson of Flint Twp;  special friends, Bob Grubbs, Craig Newberry, and Bruce.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Wayne Mills; step-son, Aaron Bories.
