Roy C. Brody

BRODY, Roy C. -- Age 81, of Apollo Beach, FL, formerly of Holly, Flint and Jackson, died Tuesday, May 12, 2009 in Apollo Beach, FL. A Memorial service will be held 1 PM Saturday, May 16 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, Deacon Ron Kenney officiating. Visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of the service Saturday. Roy grew up in Chicago. He was a U. S. Army Paratrooper. He was married to Anna Sebastian and she was the mother of his nine children; she has preceded him in death. He was a school teacher and coach, retiring from the Flint School District - Southwestern High School. Surviving are: wife Joanie; eight children, Roy (Susie) of Linden, William (Kathleen) of Holly, Al (Shelley) of Fenton, Debbie Armstead of Holly, Steven (Cheryl) of Swartz Creek, Renee (Terry) Keener of Holly, Suzi (Shawn) Alejandro of Fenton, Sheri (Lewis) Ball of Swartz Creek; 25 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; siblings, Darlene Pishotta, Ardelle Nelson, Jerry Brody, Jim Brody; Joanie's children, Dayne and Brooke and their families.
