CHANDLER, Roxie Ann - Age 95, of Flint, died Friday, August 26, 2011 at Willowbrook Manor. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, August 29, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Todd Regester officiating. Burial in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 12:00 PM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to Hill Road Baptist Church. Mrs. Chandler was born March 31, 1916 in Stanley, VA, the daughter of Samuel and Mollie Gray. She married John W. Chandler November 18, 1933 in Harrisburg, VA and he preceded her in death January 21, 1977. She retired from Flint Osteopathic Hospital after 17 years of service as an LPN. She had resided in Flint for the past 61 years. Roxie was a member of the Swartz Creek O.E.S. and attended Hill Road Baptist Church. She is survived by family and friends.
