Roswell Stenlake HARDING

August 20, 1919 — October 24, 2011

HARDING, Roswell Stenlake - age 92, died Monday, October 24, 2011. He was born in Ironwood, Michigan and attended Fenton High School. After serving his country in the United States Air Force for 23 years, he retired from the military and opened a miniature putting course in Lexington, Kentucky, and a second one in Cocoa Beach, Florida. He later retired to Melbourne, Florida where he enjoyed gardening and playing golf. He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Harding, and Heather Burdick; granddaughters, Brittany Voss and Danielle Voss; and his sister Loreen MacNeil. He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Harding; his wife, Lillian H. Harding; his parents, Helena and Henry Harding; his brothers, Kenneth and Clifford Harding, and his sister Alwyn Conant. Services will be held at 1 PM Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Fenton United Methodist Church , 119 S. Leroy St., Fenton with Pastor William Donahue officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held 11 AM until the time of service Saturday at the church. Arrangements by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W.
