Ross Kettelson

KETTELSON, Ross Vernon -- Age 85 of Fenton died July 9, 2015. Funeral services will be held 11AM Monday July 13, 2015 at Transfiguration Lutheran Church, 14176 N. Fenton Rd., Fenton. Dr. Mark R. Fisher officiating with burial following at Fairview Cemetery.Visitation will be held from 4-8PM on Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, and from 10AM until the time of service Monday at the church. Contributions may be made to the Transfiguration Building Fund. Ross was born July 15, 1929 the son of Peter A. and Lillian F. (Raycraft) Kettelson in Meeting Creek, Alberta, Canada. He married Goldie V. Price on April 19, 1952 in Grundy, VA. He was a truck driver at General Motors where he worked for 29 years, and also worked as an usher at Tiger Stadium. Ross was a member of Transfiguration Lutheran Church as well as Fenton Eagles 2460. Survived by: wife Goldie, children; Karen (Len) Mowinski of Tucson, AZ, Susan (Jim) McFeran of Livonia, Annette (Dennis) Thompsett of Canton Twp., David (Pamela) of Fincastle, VA, and Paul Kettelson of Flint, grandchildren; Brian Mowinski, Erin Stroup, Ashley Scott, Steven Scott, Hillary Scott, Eliz Mowinski, Emily Kettelson, and Joseph Kettelson, great-grandchildren; Charlie, Jonny, Lucas, Sasha and Freya, sisters; Marguerite Nichols of Three Rivers, and Audrey (Harry) of OH.
