On the afternoon of October 20, 2015, Roslyn Irene Kramer passed away at Oakmont Healthcare Facility. She had been a resident there for over six years and was surrounded by those she knew and loved. She was born in Utica, New York and moved to Flint, Michigan with her husband Sidney in 1952. She was a wife, mother to Elissa Lynn and Scott Aaron, and a devoted congregant to Congregation Beth Israel. Roz was a member of the Flint Community Players and had the pleasure of meeting many stars as well as appearing in shows presented to the public as a member of the theater group. She worked as the Star Theater publicist from 1982 to 1988. One of her proudest accomplishments was becoming the "Doll Lady" for B'nai B'rith Women. For over twenty-five years, she visited schools, synagogues, churches, and community meetings to share the stories of her famous friends. She wanted all to understand that no matter your color, race, or religion, you could always bring value to the world. Services for Mrs. Kramer will be held at Machpelah Cemetary, 4615 Branch Road in Flint, at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 23, 2015. Donations may be made in honor of Mrs. Roslyn Kramer to B'nai B'rith Women. Flowers and memorials may be sent in care of Machpelah Cemetery.
