Rosie Davis

DAVIS, Rosie Lee -- Age 80, of Flint, died July 5, 2016. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, July 11 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Sunday, and 10 AM until time of service on Monday. Rosie was born April 27, 1936 in West Memphis, Arkansas the daughter of Leon and Sarah Boyd. She married Sylvester Davis in West Memphis, Arkansas on June 10, 1956. She worked field service for over 30 years with Jehovah's Witness. She loved to travel and dance, and was a food lover. Rosie and Sylvester loved riding around in the car just to catch a breeze. She and her husband enjoyed sitting and watching her favorite team the Golden State Warriors, and also watching Tennis, her favorite players being Serena and Venus Williams. Rosie also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 60 years Sylvester; 4 children, Sherry (Larry) Miller of Flint, Sylvester (Christina) Davis of Flint, Mageela (Steven)Wheeler of Swartz Creek, Demetrius (Yuriko) Davis of Fenton; 11 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; friends, Jackie, Debra, Jane Clark and Mrs. Ryans.
