WARDA, Rosemary (Rose) Bernadette (Kushuba) - Age 73, of Fenton, died peacefully Monday, May 30, 2022 in the hospital. A memorial visitation will be held Friday from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Rosemary was born in Flint October 21, 1948, the daughter of Frank and Idella (DeShano) Kushuba. She graduated with the class of 1966 from St. Michael Catholic High School 1966, and went on to receive her nursing degree in Grand Rapids. She spent many years supporting patients of Dr. Sean Gilin in Grand Blanc before retiring. She married her lifetime sweetheart, Michael Joseph Warda on October 2, 1970 in Flint. After raising two sons in Grand Blanc, Mike and Rose moved to Fenton in 2010. She loved sewing and craft making, her pets (including all of the kitchen chickens), silly games with the family, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are: her husband of 51 years, Michael; sons, Todd (Paula) Warda of Fenton and Jason (Alicia) Warda of Fenton; grandchildren, Zack, Josh, Gracie, Elliot, Olive, and Zoe; siblings, Rita (Randy), Doris, John (Sandy), Michelle (Don), and Darlene (Bart); and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Idella Kushuba, and siblings Frank Jr. and Mike. Online tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
