Rosemary Thompson

THOMPSON, Rosemary Ethel - age 80, of Linden, died Saturday, August 31, 2019. Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the YWCA of Greater Flint (www.ywcaflint.org). Rosemary was born February 22, 1939 in Flint, the daughter of William and Rosella "Madge" (Herrington) Vogel. She married David Thompson on August 24, 1957 and he preceded her in death on April 21, 2016. Rosemary enjoyed reading and gardening. She was a firm supporter and generous giver to women's rights, affordable health care and all humanitarian efforts. Rosemary was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Surviving are:  three children, Kimberly (Peter) Pabin of Linden, Kirk (Beth) Thompson of Swartz Creek, Kathleen (Larry) Miller of Fenton; son-in-law, Richard Horning of Fenton; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by: two daughters, Kelly Horning and Rebecca Thompson; and grandson, David Long.
