STARRS, Rosemary Anne - Age 94, of Linden, passed away Monday, June 2, 2014 at her home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Thursday, June 5, 2014 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St, Fenton. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Burial immediately following in St. John Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Wednesday from 1-9 PM and at church Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. A vigil service will be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, those desiring can make donations to Rosemary's great granddaughter Isabella Rose Ward who is currently battling cancer. Donations can be mailed to P.O. Rosemary was born in her home that she resides in today August 14, 1919 the daughter of James and Ellen (Whalen) Greiner. She was a 1937 graduate of Linden High School. She married Francis Anthony Starrs May 10, 1941 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton and he preceded her in death December 16, 1966. Rosemary was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, St. John's Altar Society, and the Linden Historical Society. She also was a Election official for Fenton Township. Surviving are: 10 children, James and wife Susan Starrs of Linden, Frank and wife Berniece Starrs of Linden, Mary Lipe of Fenton, Daniel Starrs of Linden, John and wife Trudy Starrs of Linden, Patrick and wife Suzanne Starrs of Linden, Thomas and wife Laura Starrs of Linden, Michael and wife Sandy Starrs of Linden, Joseph and wife Mary Starrs of Linden, and Anne and husband Tim White of Fenton; 30 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
