Rosemary Agnes Ryan

RYAN, Rosemary Agnes - Age 87, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, formerly of Flint, passed away Monday, November 18, 2024. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11804 South Saginaw St, Grand Blanc. Fr. Leronio Vodivodi celebrant. Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held at the church Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the time of the Mass. Those desiring may make contributions to Right to Life of Michigan. 

Rosemary was born September 27, 1937 in Flint, the daughter of Steve and Agnes (Krhovsky) Kominek. She received an Associates Degree from Flint Junior College (Mott Community College) and a Master Degree from University of Michigan, Flint. She married R. Perry Ryan September 30, 1961 in Flint and he preceded her in death June 2, 2017. She retired from University of Michigan, Flint as a mathematics instructor; she also had been employed by AC Spark Plug. Rosemary was a former member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. She also was the former President of Heartbeat of Greater Flint, served on the Board of Directors of Right to Life of Michigan and the President of the Flint Area Right to Life. 

Surviving are: sons, Christopher and his wife Maryori Ryan of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Thaddeus Martin Ryan of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Jack, Hunter, Lily, Mary Ann Rose and Patrick Ryan; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Perry Ryan, Jr.; sister, L. Janet Way. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
