Rosemary Modders

MODDERS, Rosemary Leanora - beautiful, loving, wife, mother and grandmother went to join her Lord Jesus. She left us on September 22, 2014. She was 83. Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 26, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 806 Main St, Fenton. Pastor Dean Dumbrille officiating. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Thursday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM and at church Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund. Rosemary was born January 4, 1931 in Flint the daughter of James and Leanora (Dickinson) Howe. She resided in Fenton her entire life. She married Dale H. Modders May 25, 1972 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fenton. She had worked for the Tri County Times for many years. Rosemary was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was the president of the ladies Thursday golf league at Fenton Farms. She loved to golf, travel and garden. Her greatest joy was to spend time with her family. Surviving are: her husband of 42 years, Dale; 7 children, Cathy (Vic) Jagos of Gilbert, AZ, Fran (Dan) Schmuck of Fenton, Louie Helms of Fenton, Dr. Michael (Karen) Helms of Indianapolis, IN, Mary (Dr. Gary) Link of Paradise Valley, AZ, Dr. Mark (Lucy) Helms of Tucson, AZ, and Timothy (Ann) Helms of Chandler, AZ; 2 step children, Howard Modders of Holly and Cathy Modders of Saginaw; 22 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; brother, John (Lenore) Howe of Atlanta, MI; and several nieces and nephews.
