Rosemary Lobdell

Rosemary Lobdell, age 77, of Gaines, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023. A time of gathering will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023 starting at 5PM until 9PM at Sharp Funeral Home, 209 East Broad Street in Linden. Rosemary was born on December 21, 1945 in Flint, Michigan to the late Allan & Betty Wagner. She graduated in 1971 from Byron High School. Rosemary continued her education at Mott Community College where she earned her associates degree in nursing. Rosemary worked as a registered nurse for over 21 years before retiring in 2007 at St. Joes Livingston in Howell. She married the love of her life David on June 11, 1963 in Flint, Michigan and together they were blessed with three children.

Rosemary and David enjoyed many summers of camping throughout Michigan. She especially loved to pontoon and fish. During the summers there was always Wednesday night family cookouts and grandkids swimming in the pool. Rosemary will be dearly missed by her family for her advice, kindness and warm nature.

She is survived by her husband, David; her two daughters, Laura (Rick) Musall and Debbie (Danny) Matznick; eight grandchildren, Christopher Lobdell, Derek (Kelsey) Musall, Jason (Terra) Musall, Brandon (Lena) Musall, Dylan (Danielle) Musall, Jessica Matznick, Joshua Matznick and Jenna Matznick; seventeen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bonnie (Mike) Shepard and Barb (Ken) Hixenbaugh; brother, Wayne (Linda) Wagner and sister-in-law, Diane Wagner. Rosemary is further survived by many other dear family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, David and her brother, Dick Wagner.
